Those little box tops don't seem like much but Trailwood has earned over $14,000 from box tops over the years! Click here for a list of participating products. Then just clip and bring them to the office by Feb. 9. Check to make sure they haven't expired. Labeled sets of 50 are preferred but it's fine to drop off just a few. We collected enough box tops to earn $315 last fall. Not bad, but we can do better! Consider asking neighbors or extended family if they have any to share. There are more easy ways for you to help Trailwood earn money from box tops as well. Go to BTFE.COM/EARN to learn about the Box Tops Bonus App and special promotions. ![]() PTA will be collecting new and used board games throughout the month of January for all the Trailwood classrooms (kindergarten-6th). Board games are a great way to increase academic skills in math and reading, improve strategic thinking, enhance social-emotional skills and so much more! We want to help replenish the teachers’ supplies, so the kids have several options during indoor recess. Clean out your game closet, hit the thrift shops and look for games at the stores! Please make sure that all game pieces are included and all parts are functioning. Place the games in the blue bin in the foyer of the parent entrance. Questions? Hopefully your calendars are marked for this great event on Saturday, February 23. Our theme this year Paris of the Plains and the event again will be held at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Museum. One of the most lucrative donations for our PTA is spring parties which are hosted by our wonderful, generous parents. Below are the parties we will be selling tickets for at this year’s auction. If you have an interest in hosting and/or co-hosting one of these parties, please let Andrea Krasnow or Brandy Dietz know by Friday, January 11th.
Other Ideas welcome, please let us know! Andrea Krasnow and Brandy Dietz ![]() Hello Trailwood Families! Our school’s biggest fundraiser of the year will take place on February 23, 2019! If you are looking for a way to contribute to this event, please consider having your company or place of business be an auction sponsor! Being an auction sponsor is a win-win! Your company gets awesome exposure and recognition both during and after the event, and our school receives important funding for field trips, teacher stipends, and so much more! We have different levels of sponsorship from which to choose, so hopefully there is something that fits your company’s wishes. Trailwood Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all gifts are tax deductible. What a great way to showcase your business to our amazing Trailwood community! We have attached our new sponsorship levels page for you to review and determine if one might work for your company. And, if you know of an area business that we should contact, please don’t hesitate to let us know! We are happy to reach out to those who might be interested in learning more about this opportunity to give back to our school! Thank you for your consideration and for your support of the Trailwood auction! Please let us know if you have any questions.
