Hello, Trailwood!
Fall is party-central at Trailwood. We hope you’ve been enjoying the grade-level Happy Hours. There’s still time to attend our school-wide fall fundraiser - the Trailwood Games on Saturday, October 6th.  Come to battle or just enjoy watching others fight for victory!  All proceeds go to the Mini-Grants fund. If your child has ever been pumped for scooter day in PE, balanced on a wobble stool or been challenged by Breakout Curriculum, they’ve experienced the benefits of the Mini-Grants program.

Follow the newsletter link at trailwoodpta.com to purchase tickets to The Games and to see the many other things happening at Trailwood in the next month.

Please come join us again, but this time in your Halloween costume and be prepared to have a super, spooky good time! We'll have some slippery eyeballs and frozen fingers for you to touch if you dare, a special Halloween treat, and then we'll make some ghoulish goo with long stringy hair! We are looking forward to having a fa"BOO"lous time!
-Mrs.Victoria Savich and Mrs. Lindsey Guillen

FYI...We do play and explore lots of items and materials that can be a chocking or safety hazard for children younger than 3. The activities are more geared towards children 3 years+ but feel free to bring younger siblings if needed.

Educationally yours,

Election Day is Around The Corner!

There are several education-focused groups, including Education First Shawnee Mission, Stand Up Blue Valley and the Kansas National Education Association (KNEA), who do endorse candidates that they believe will support public education in Kansas.

There are several opportunities to meet and hear directly from candidates before election day at candidate forums.
