aUCTION COMMITTEE
Chair(s): Victoria SavichThe Trailwood Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year. The auction funds over 50 programs to enrich the educational experience of our students and provide support for Trailwood staff. Proceeds support cultural arts programs, school field trips, teacher stipends, community events, and enhanced learning experiences throughout the year. It truly takes a village to pull this event off year after year. Auction Art
Chair(s): Lauren Wilson, Cheyenna StarkovichAuction Art Committee works in conjunction with the Auction Committee; however, student's artwork and class art is an incredibly vital part of the Auction as a whole. This committee works closely with Mrs. Schwab and ALL of the students to help create the amazing masterpieces which can be purchased at the Auction. If you are creative and enjoy seeing masterpieces come together, this committee is for you! Babysitting
Chair(s): Jennifer PontierWe know what you must be thinking..."BABYSITTING?!" During some school functions and meetings, this committee helps to organize care for your littles so you can focus. This committee is a great help to the families in our community for these TW events; however, they are not available for personal babysitting needs. Birthday Book Club K-2
Chair(s): Cheyenna StarkovichHere at Trailwood, we have a special birthday tradition involving books. Each student will have the opportunity to select a new book in honor of their birthday. The student's name and the school year will be noted on the nameplate inside the book and will become a permanent part of the library collection. The PTA generously provides a treat or treasure of some kind for the entire class that the student will get to pass out. This means no baking or buying cupcakes to bring to school! This committee is responsible for handling the correspondence with families and keep teachers and the librarian in the loop. Book Fair
Chair(s): Lori Tritsch and Rachel CrabbThe chair(s) for this committee relies on volunteers to help for this twice annually held book fairs for setup, break down and sales during Book Fair week. Volunteers sign up in shifts. Responsibilities include: coordination between school, volunteer team, treasurer and Scholastic Book Fairs - Direction of setup, operation and break down of fair - coordination of teacher preview, classroom wish list, display, and reorder books as needed - Marketing the book of the year for pre-order - Advertising through social media and email to communicate Book Fair dates - Track pre-paid orders and distribute orders after delivery.
