Hello Thunderbirds! What a fun-filled November we had with lots of opportunities to exercise our "thankfulness muscles"! We are truly thankful for all of our PTA volunteers who worked so hard in November to make all of the many events fun and fantastic. 

Our Fall Bookfair was a huge success and thanks to you, Mrs. Klein will be able to fill the Library shelves once again with wonderful books for our students. Trailwood was full of excitement during our Special Persons Lunch, our Book Fair Pancake Breakfast and our Blood Drive in memory of Moira. Thank you to all who showed up and participated in these events. 

Looking ahead to December- we anticipate lots of learning and fun with all of the scheduled field trips funded by our PTA and our Winter Classroom Parties! 

I'd like to personally invite you to join us on Tuesday, December 12 at 8:15 am in the commons for our PTA Member Appreciation meeting! Please come and enjoy coffee and treats from McLain's while you hear updates from me, our committees and Mr. Lawrence. Hope to see you there!!

Support our PTA by purchasing a membership. We’re managed solely by parent volunteers, and our funding comes from membership dues and fundraising. Becoming a member does not obligate you to attend meetings or volunteer (although, we’d love to have you!). Our PTA provides students, staff and families with a variety of fun and educational opportunities here at Trailwood. Our success depends on your support!

You can also purchase your child’s yearbook and pay their yearly activity fee here. Yearbooks will be delivered in May.

Thank you room parents for all of your work this fall!  As a reminder we have the Winter parties coming up Tuesday, December 19th from 2-3pm. Just as a reminder the food/drink policy is the same as it was for the Halloween parties. Classroom teachers are responsible for knowing their students’ food allergies and can make the best decisions on party foods that are safe for their class. To assist teachers with the responsibility, we ask that you submit food ingredient labels at least two school days in advance of classroom parties. For Winter parties this date is Friday, December 15th. Any food not approved of in advance by the teacher will be sent home with the student. We encourage fruits and vegetables as much as possible. Soda and energy drinks are not allowed. Any non-fruit or vegetable food that is brought in must be pre-packaged and include an ingredient label, as stated above. Again, thank you for all you do to make the parties fun for our students! We couldn’t do all this without you!

If you prefer to instead have items delivered to the office, please note this on your sales form. All spirit wear purchased by December 19th will be delivered to the school prior to Winter Break.
