PTA legislative update

A Note From the Trailwood Legislative Chair

As a PTA, we strive to support the quality of education at our school. To that end, we can use our voices to advocate for funding and policies that maintain and enhance strong public schools.

As legislative chair, my goal is to provide information on proposed legislation and policies that impact public education in Kansas, as well as elections that can influence public education.

November 8th is an incredibly important election for public education. The governor and state legislature have a significant impact on funding of K-12 education in Kansas and in our district.

Questions regarding current legislative issues? Please contact Legislative Chair Emily Meissen-Sebelius.
